Had a 1-on-1 call with the HR recruiter. After passing the screen, I had an interview with two bankers who asked me a variety of technical (types of valuations, how to calculate FCF, EV calculations, cost of debt vs equity), and fit questions. Finally, had an interview with a member of the talent team.

Interview
Applied through the company's main career sight. HR called to go over the position for the summer and do a preliminary interview roughly a month after I had applied. About two weeks later, I met with the manager of the program and in charge of all of the training that new analysts receive when starting full time. Was more of a get to know who I was experience; my background, why TCB, why IB. Went over the whole groups structure and did an overview of expectations and goals for their summer interns. 2 weeks later I had a 2-1 interview with two of the MD's. Mostly behavioral questions with one semi technical question; "if you're interested in said group give us an example of a deal you've recently followed". Was overall laid back with the MD's after that said question was answered.
Overall, a pleasant experience throughout the whole process. Seemed like great guys to work for, everyone was excited for the growth opportunities within the new Investment Banking group. Everyone I've connected with at the firm seems to really enjoy working there.

The first meeting was with senior management because the investment bank was just getting started. The second meeting was with the head of the investment bank's hiring operations. Both were very focused on soft skills and experience on my resume. The technical portion was relatively easy.

This is to see how you fit into the environment. Next is in front of a panel where they ask you some fundamental accounting questions as well as some behavioral questions that you get in most interviews like name a time where you disagreed with your boss/mentor and how did you go about coming to a conclusion
